There is the usual white, sandy beaches; bright, sunny days; balmy night breezes but there is so much more to enjoy and experience in Barbados. We invite all our visiting friends, and those who are contemplating visiting our beautiful isle, to take a peek at some of what we have to offer. Youll be amazed at what you will find in this 166-square-mile gem that is gently washed by the Caribbean Sea on one coastline and buffeted by the mighty waves of the Atlantic Ocean on another. Barbados is indeed a gem, with many positive features and very little negatives: a stable and growing economy, a highly-educated population, a well-developed infrastructure, a strong global presence and a business-friendly environment, among others, all combine to make this island an attractive place to live, work and relax. Friends Magazine has been guiding visitors of all ages, and income levels on the treasures of Barbados for over 20 years.
